Please find below a Critique for the 15th November 2009 Open Show:

"NORTHERN POMERANIAN CLUB 15TH NOVEMBER 2009
I would like to thank Lynn Webster and the committee of the Northern Pomeranian Club for inviting me to judge their open show.
I had a lovely day I was make most welcome by all, including the exhibitors. I would like to make a comment or two. Some of the exhibits were not clean, need trimming, some need a little training. Some bitches are too small and the dogs too big. I know that bitches of all sizes can and do whelp naturally, but if the bitches are too small they have no room or enough substance within themselves to carry and nurture puppies to term and then to feed them. I know this will take a long time too correct, we all need to start before we reach the point of no return.

MINOR PUPPY DOG(8)
1st IVESON- CARIVE LITTLE FIDO
A nice black of good coat and colour, nice head, nice size. Showed well and moved well, quite mature.
2nd POPES- KIESYL'S SOUL MAN
Another very nice puppy, nice head and ears, still in puppy coat, moved and showed well.

PUPPY DOG(4)
1st POPE'S- KEISYL'S IN THE LIMELIGHT.
Nice orange, just coming into a nice coat, nice head and ears, showed and moved well, still a fidgety baby. RBPIS
2nd WORTHINGTON'S- NYELLASTOCK NEMESIS
Very much still a baby, nice head and ears, a little more settled he showed and moved a lot better in this class.

JNR DOG(2-2a)
1st ODD'S- BLAZIN OUTLAW AT TREWARWYN
A nice black, coming into coat, nice head, needs under coat, moved very well, showed well, enjoyed himself, well presented.
2nd EYRE'S- POMEYRE SUGAR AND SPICE.
Nice orange, smaller dog, nice head and ears, didn't move as well as 1 didn't show his best.

SPECIAL YEARLING DOG (2)
1st CHARLTON (Handling for Mrs S Thornton)
VADERS YUH TALKING TO ME,
A nice black a good coat, nice size, nice head and ears, moved well and showed well.
2nd REYNOLDS- AMBRILL YAPPY BOY.
A nice o/s, needs some work on handling and preparation, couldn't assess properly.

POST GRAD DOG(4-1a)
1st ROBINSON- EARNPRIDE TANGO.
Nice orange, a nice size, in good coat, nice head, moved well and showed well when settled.
2nd EYRE- POMEYRE COFFEE AND CREAM.
A nice light wolf /s nice head and ears , needs to mature, moved and showed well when he settled.

OPEN DOG(5)
1st FLEETWOODS- ABBEYLEIGH INCA
A very nice black of good colour, good size, nice head and ears, short back, moved and showed well, well presented BIS
2nd ODD'S- BENLEASE BARNEY RUBBLE.
Orange up to size, nice shape, well presented, good head, moved and showed well.

SP OPEN STUD DOG(3)
1st F- ABBEYLEIGH INCA
2nd DANKS-KEISYL LOVER BOY
Orange, up to size, nice substance, nice head and ears, moved well and showed well when settled.

VETERAN DOG - NO ENTRIES.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH (3)
1ST POPE'S- KEISYL SWEET SOUL MUSIC.
A nice o/s, nice shape, nice head and ears, good colour, moved well and showed well, I hope she will grow on. BPIS
2nd DANKS- LILLISE LOOK WHOS TALKING.
Orange of the same size as 1, nice head ears, moved well and showed well, hope she also grows on.

PUPPY BITCH (2)
1st CROSSLY- PIKAPOM SUNDAE DELIGHT.
Light w/s, of nice quality, nice head and ears, moved well when she found her own pace, would like her a little bit bigger.
2nd ROBINSON- KEISYL DIZZIGNER INC.
Orange, nice head and ears, moved well, when settled, also would like her a little bit bigger.

JNR BITCH.(5-2a)
1st WORTHINGTON- BRYBETT CAMELIA AT NYLLASTOCK JW
Orange of good quality, short back, nice head and ears, starting to mature nicely. showed and moved well.
2nd BOYES- COME PARTI WITH ME.
Orange /white parti colour, a very good bitch of substance, up to size, make a good brood bitch, moved and showed well, nice shape.

SPECIAL YEARLING BITCH (2-1a)
1st SANDERSON- WARLEGGEN FURTREE FOX AMONG SANDCHIZE,
O/s, nice bitch of good substance, nice head and ears, moved and showed well, a nice brood size.

Orange of good quality, short back, nice head and ears, moved and showed well,
2nd RAWLIN- SUEACES CORDELIA.
Orange/s nice size, nice head and ears, not quite the quality of 1.

OPEN BITCH (4)
1st FLEETWOOD- ABBEYLEIGH MIRANDA.
Light orange, of quality, nice head and ears, showed and moved well, a better size dual purpose bitch. RBIS BOS
2nd BOYES- PARAPOM FIERY FLOURIE.
Orange/s of quality, nice head and ears, nice shape, same size as 1 moved and showed well, a little longer in the back.

SPECIAL OPEN BROOD BITCH.(2)
1st FLEETWOOD- ABBEYLEIGH TREACLE TART.
Orange of quality, nice head and ears, nice brood size, could be handled a bit better. Moved and showed well when settled.
2nd THORNTON- PARAPOM LADY IN BLACK AT VADER
Didn't wait for assessment.

Northern Pomeranian Club Championship Show April 2010

"It was an honour to judge the Northern Pomeranian Club Championship Show on 11^th April 2010.  My thanks go to the hardworking Officers, Committee, Stewards and Exhibitors for making the day such a huge success.   My Best In Show and Dog CC winner was Stone's Foxmitch Simply Red.  My Reserve Best In Show and Bitch CC was Boyes Parapom Sheila's Wheels.    My Reserve Dog CC was awarded to Cawtheras Ch Lireva Sir Fin the Net . Reserve Bitch CC and Reserve Best Puppy in Show went to Ogilvie's Lady Muck.  Best Puppy in Show was Holman's Altina's Silver Comet JW. Best Veteran in Show was Holman's Champion Altina's Apollo JW ShCM.

Minor Puppy Dog (2) 1^st  WHEELERS DARANASH RED HOT LAD AT GALCHRIS  Good expression, short and compact o/s, good movement, nice type, good barrel of rib in good condition and muscle tone. 2^nd NEWTONS BILIJEES PYRRHUS Nice head and expression, full of lovely Pom personality he thoroughly enjoyed his day, harsh w/s coat, nice head and expression, moved well in good coat and condition.

Puppy Dog [10,1abs]   1^st HOLMANS ALTINA'S SILVER COMET JW Quality Cream, pretty head and expression, small ears,  jet black pigment, good mouth, well proportioned firm body, correctly set and carried tail, dense harsh double coat groomed to perfection, stood four square at all times, showed none stop like a veteran, good movement one for the future BPIS.  2^nd NIXONS KAZPOM CODE NAME Quality orange sable, nice head and expression, small ear, good mouth, harsh double coat, lovely shape stands four square at all times, in lovely firm condition and tone as always from this kennel, groomed and handled to perfection,  good movement shame to meet 1^st in such top form. 3^rd CROSSLEY PIKAPOM PLAYFORD STAR

Junior Dog [10,2abs]   1^st ANDERSONS ZENTARR HARRY Quality w/s lovely head and expression, tiny ears, short coupled, makes lovely shape as he stands four square whilst showing on neat cat like feet, short back, high set tail with lovely profuse plume, correct texture coat, showed and presented to absolute perfection as always from this kennel.  2^nd IVESONS CARIVE LITTLE FIDO Nice head and expression, good pigment, stood four square whilst showing, nice size and shape, good movement, good tail set and plume, good double black coat, in good firm condition and tone, presented and handled to perfection.  3^rd McDOWALL DEGSY STAR ATTRACTION

Post Graduate Dog [9,3abs]  1^st POPES KEISYL IN THE LIMELIGHT  Smart Orange, lovely head, short and compact,  good double harsh coat, great firm little body, sound on the move, showed none stop, presented and handled to perfection. 2^nd ROBINSONS EARNPRIDE TANGO nice head and expression, nice shape good double orange coat, showed none stop, good movement and well presented. 3^rd EYRES POMEYRE SUGAR AND SPICE

Limit Dog [13,1abs]  1^st  STONES FOXMITCH SIMPLY RED. Simply a star!  A top quality smart Orange, he showed none stop from the moment he entered the ring, so full of Pom personality, delightful head and expression, jet black pigment, small ears, ideal size, short and compact, lovely to go over, great muscle tone, good barrel of rib, great outline and shape, high set tail, harsh double coat, sound movement,  good bone, tight cat like feet, showed none stop, he loved every minute of being in the limelight and showed off his virtues faultlessly, an asset to any kennel and a future Champion thank you for bringing him CC and BIS.  2^nd HOLMANS ALTINAS SILVER PHOENIX JW ShCM Quality eye-catching cream, lovely head and expression, good mouth, jet black pigmentation, huge harsh immaculate double coat, in lovely muscle tone and condition as always from this kennel, short back lovely shape, moved well,  high set tail showed none stop handled to perfection. 3^rd OGILVIES PAKOVS GOLD CHIP JW

Open Dog [8] 1^st CAWTHERA CH LIREVA'S SIR FIN THE NET Quality clear orange, correct and sound moving to and afore, good head and expression, small correctly set ears, good barrel of rib, super condition, excellent tone and firm body, lovely shape, showed none stop, correct harsh double coat, high tail set with full plume, handled and groomed to absolute perfection. Special Beginners Dog  [2]   1^st  IVESONS CARIVE LITTLE FIDOS as above  2^nd BROWNS ALTINAS RED ALERT Nice head and expression, good pigmentation, harsh double orange coat, in good condition, good bone, firm body, moved and showed well.

Special Open Stud Dog [2,1abs]  1^st  DANKS KEISYL LOVER BOY Nice head and expression good pigmentation, pleasing to go over in good condition and tone , good movement, well handled and presented.

Veteran Dog [2,1abs] 1^st HOLMAN'S CH ALTINA'S APOLLO JW ShCM Clear orange in superb condition and tone, nice head, small ears, good mouth with all clean teeth intact, good body and correct double coat.  He showed and moved as well as he did when I judged him as a youngster, I thought he was a quality exhibit then and my opinion has not changed.

Minor Puppy Bitch [7,2abs] 1^st ORCHARD & WHITELOCK MANATEK'S MOST WANTED  Loved this little girls head and expression, jet black pigment, good harsh o/s double coat, good bone, nice tight cat like feet stands four square, moved and showed to perfection, beautifully presented one I will watch with great interest. 2^nd OGILVIES PAKOVS BLONDE MOMENT Lovely head and expression, small neat ears, harsh cream double coat, showed none stop full of Pom personality, stands four square, sound movement absolutely immaculate, groomed and handled to perfection, another for the future. 3^rd BROWNS LAURENS SUMMER PARTI BLUES

Puppy Bitch [11,3abs] 1^st OGILVIES PAKOV'S LADY MUCK Fabulous dual purpose quality light orange, lovely head and expression, great ring presence, good double harsh coat for age, high set tail with great plume making a lovely shape, a pleasure to go over, tight cat like feet, good bone, sound moving to and afore, showed none stop like a veteran, she did not put a paw wrong, another for the future Res CC and RBPIS.  2^nd CAWTHERAS LIREVA'S CAST AN NET Very pretty orange excellent pigmentation, good head and expression, sound movement as always from this kennel, good double harsh coat, neat cat like feet, good bone, stood four square, handled and presented to perfection.  3^rd SCARFES NYELLASTOCK CUP CAKE OF CABANA

Limit Bitch [13,3abs]  1^st BOYES PARAPOM SHEILA'S WHEELS CC an outstanding cream bitch that caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. I was not disappointed when I went over her.  Fabulous quality dual purpose perfectly proportioned size, sound movement, beautiful head and expression, jet black pigmentation, lovely to go over in beautiful toned condition, lovely bone, lovely shape with high set tail and profuse plume, stood four square on tight cat like feet at all times, huge harsh double coat, no hesitation in awarding her top honours a future Champion. Without doubt an asset to any kennel. Special Open Brood Bitch   [3, 1abs] 1^ST  HOLMANS CH ALTINA'S SELENE JW ShCM Pretty dual purpose cream, excellent pigmentation, perfect mouth,  super bone, good movement, excellent barrel of rib, firm body  in great condition and tone, showed none stop, lovely shape, high set tail with good plume handled and shown to perfection another quality bitch from this top kennel.  2^ND HOLROYD PARAPOM HELLO AGAIN Pretty head and expression, good pigmentation, lovely condition and tone, good barrel of rib, good bone, good movement, nice shape, immaculately presented showed none stop.

Veteran Bitch [3]  1st POPES LITTLE MADAM TELL TAIL TO KEISYL ShCM Pretty head and expression, full of Pom personality, in lovely condition, good bone, great tone and firm body with good barrel of rib, showed none stop, sound movement, handled and presented to perfection.  2^nd THORNTONS VADERS ICE QUEEN Lovely head and expression, small ears, jet black pigmentation, in lovely condition and tone, great bone, good barrel of rib, nice shape, stands four square on tight cat like feet, showed none stop immaculately presented. 3^rd ALLUMS BILIJEES CANDY FLOSS"
